Only view necessary commits

Currently it looks at ALL commits (very bad). It would be nice if it only had to look at relevant commits, i.e. index.html is only changed on x and z. Thus we don't have to look at a, b, c, …, x, y, z.

Though, usually, index.html relies on other files, e.g. style.css, so just looking for changes on index.html would result in an incomplete time travel.
