[5.x]: Advanced settings on link fields not persisting when changes are made to entries.

What happened?

Description

Advanced classes added to link fields are not persistent. If I make changes to entries containing link fields the classes are often removed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to a entry
2. Create a link field
3. Add a css class using the link field advanced settings
4. Make a change to the entry
5. Check advanced settings on the link field

Expected behavior

Advanced fields should persist even when changes are made to entries

Hi, thanks for reporting! A quick workaround is to ensure your link field is not empty, e.g., that an enabled entry is selected.

More info:
To clarify, it’s a Hyper field, not the native Link field, and it can be reproduced with a Hyper field added directly to the section’s entry type.

This will only happen if the field is considered empty, and it affects all attributes, not just the classes (e.g. Link Text, Link Title, etc).

I’ll update the issue again once I have more info.
