Description
In the exam environment, listening questions include an audio that is meant to be played by the learner.
On the first playback, the audio behaves as expected:
- It starts at the correct point.
- It stops automatically at the intended end of the excerpt.
However, on the second time the learner clicks the play button, the audio does not restart from the beginning of the same excerpt. Instead, it continues from where it previously stopped.
Current behavior:
- First click: audio plays the correct segment and stops.
- Second click: audio resumes from the stopping point instead of replaying the same segment.
Expected behavior:
Every time the learner clicks play, the audio should restart from the beginning of the same listening segment, regardless of previous playback.
This ensures consistent behavior and allows learners to replay the same excerpt as intended during the exam.
This behavior is especially important in an exam context, where replaying the same listening excerpt should be predictable and consistent.
